A while back I shared with you how to create an extended word window punch label (see post here). The process I shared then works with almost any punch, but did you know that it can work with your framelits and Big Shot too? And it couldn't be easier - check out the sample above using the flag from the Hearts a Flutter Framelits set.
There are a couple little tricks to make this work and today I am going to share them with you!
- Use the Big Shot Magnetic Platform!
While you can use the standard multipurpose platform that comes with your Big Shot Machine, the magnetic platform holds your paper and framelits in place for perfect placement every time.
- Place your framelit off the edge of the platform to prevent creases.
Your paper will crease when you run your paper through the Big Shot with the full framelit on the platform like this:
- However, you can avoid this creasing if you hang the end of the framelit off the end of the platform like this:
Have you tried the Magnetic Platform yet? It is an investment you won't regret.
